On the 11th, Matt and I are going to help judge the fifth year biomedical engineer’s design projects.  We were told that the event is a mixture of a design competition and a thesis defense.  To better prepare ourselves, Matt and I decided to stop by the electrical engineers’ design project presentations.

We were able to attend two presentations.  Matt and I left early because the venues were pretty crowded.  A lot of people showed up to watch the presentations and the majority of them did not have seats. The design project topics were pretty interesting.  One was about designing a more cost effective AC to DC converter.  The other one was about designing a robot control system based on neural networking.
